Be deliberate about your learning
How often do you read? Once in a blue moon, for exams only, biannually or just on special occasions?
A book a day saves a lifetime is a quote I would like to believe everyone should hold important. “Once you learn to read, you are forever free”
Even if you don't have enough time due to work or studies, try your possible best to read something new daily. It goes a long way in broadening your knowledge. It doesn't necessarily have to be something you need at the moment but I can assure you, that knowledge would come in handy someday.
There is a deriding statement used against Africans, “Hide something in a book for an African and h/she would never find it". Would you say this still relates to us or it is a statement of the past?
